about

All of this music is based on improvisations by TIM WEBB. In fact, many of the actual sounds heard herein are derived from Tim's bass parts. Of course, most of them are unrecognisable once they've been manipulated by the PEDANTIC PEDESTRIAN, employing secret alchemical processes (once thought lost with the ancient Aztecs), aided by all those nifty little tools that Freeware has to offer. Most of the music was recorded throughout February 2017, in locations fairly adjacent to two different cities called Portsmouth (kosmik ko-inky-dink!! probably something to do with leylines, etc. etc.)

Tracks 1 thru 6 were originally included in our entry for the 2017 RPM Challenge. "Angles", "Edges" and "Rebuki" are based on pieces from Tim's "Solo Bass Improvisations" album of 2006, which, in turn, also included material submitted for the RPM Challenge of that year.

Watch out for the contractually-obligated hidden bonus track!
